Formed in 1920, The Advertising Institute of Australasia is the only body devoted to the recognition and advancement of individual advertising professionals in Australia.
The Institute's primary objective has always been to raise the level of professionalism in the industry through setting and maintaining standards for advertising education by close involvement with government and other institutions who offer AIA approved courses.
Members give freely of their time to assist with advertising education and, in particular, to help provide young people with the skills and opportunities necessary to gain employment in the industry.
The Advertising Institute is a non-profit, apolitical body funded by membership fees and corporate sponsorship.
